Bed Bug Extermination Methods
Chemical Bed Bug Treatments
Although heat treatments are gaining popularity, there is still a need for traditional chemical treatments. Heat treating takes up to 8 hours per room, compared to less than an hour for a pesticide application. Larger structures with many infested rooms may not have the time nor the budget for large-scale heat applications.
When performed properly, chemical treatments are just as effective at heat treatments and there is no risk to people or pets if the guidelines are followed correctly.
Bed Bug Heat Treatments
Heat treatments are not only eco-friendly, but they are becoming the most trusted method in Metro Vancouver. The treatment is safe for your family and pets and does not damage your property or belongings.
Bed bugs do not handle extreme heat well. We heat your home to >48°c for a minimum of 90 minutes - when done properly, all live bed bugs and their eggs will expire. This treatment takes longer, but the success rate is typically better.
